The Nuts Poker League

Poker has exploded in the UK and Europe attracting huge media coverage and is becoming the fastest growing pass-time in the UK today. Poker is bringing in customers to venues and provides a refreshing alternative to the norm.

We are the largest poker league operator in the UK. There is no need for a special licence.

Each venues has its own league table with the players playing for points, which are accumulated and entered onto the league table.

At the end of each 3 monthly season the top 15% of players (max 9) from each venue qualify for a Regional Final, where they will compete in a Tournament to win prizes and seats for the next National Final at which major cash prizes are on offer.

We have 2 options for venues to ensure your success

1. Self run Option.

We currently have many successful self run venues. If you, or one of your patrons, understands the rules of Texas Hold em Poker then self- running is an option, and this is reflected in the costs. We would provide assistance in getting you started, and give you or a nominated person access to our website so that results can be entered in a timely manner. This keeps your players happy, and encourages them to return on a weekly basis.

Promotional Material, along with instructions will be sent to your venue.

2. With a Tournament Director (provided there is one operating within your Area, and available on the night you request)

- who will register all players, set up and take down the equipment, settle any hand ranking issues, time and raise the blinds, chip players up, teach new players to play, and encourage others to join in.

How do I join The Nuts Poker League?
That's easy. Just pick one of your quiet nights and let us know the day you wish to start. We will do everything from there and provide you with posters to ensure all of your patrons are aware of the event.

How long does the tournament last for?
Most tournaments start at 7.30 - 8-00pm.The event will last approx. 3 hours. Player numbers determines the timing of the event.
