(The Vegas Package Prize has set travel dates. If the National winner for any reason cannot travel on those set dates or will be under 21 years of age at date of travel, the prize will be rolled down to the next eligible player. No cash alternative, or transferring the trip to another person is available)

Congratulations to Dafydd Joseph from Wrexham on winning the England & Wales National Final in the Grosvenor Casino, Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

After 11.5 hours of play, the tournament reached heads up with Jamie Ellison from Cumbria

The deciding hand came when Jamie the short stack pushed All in with a Qd & 8h and was called by Dafydd holding Ac & Kd

Flop was 7h, Ah & Jc Followed by Turn of 8c and river of Ks meaning Dafydd won the title with a pair of Aces

England & Wales Final Sat 15th July

Venue :  Grosvenor Casino, Ricoh Arena, Phoenix Way, Coventry, CV6 6GE

Times :  Casino is open 24 hours.  Registration for Final opens at 10:30am closes 11:30am. Tournament starts at 12pm. Late Entries allowed up until end of level 3 approx 1pm

Players can only register in person in the cardroom. Texts / phone calls or other players registering on behalf of another player are not accepted.

Prizes – Cash Prizes will be paid out to the top 20 finishing players, starting at £100

The winner will receive:

·        £3000 Cash

·        A package to Las Vegas in Nov 2017, to be a member of Team GB playing in the World League Poker Championships

·        PLUS a seat into the Nuts UK Final to be staged in 2018, that has a field of only 40 players with the winner receiving £10,000 Cash

Rules – This Tournament will be played under Grosvenor Casino Tournament Rules

Food: A free buffet will be provided during the afternoon

Id Requirements - A valid Grosvenor Membership card is required for Casino Entry, those without must bring a valid form of Government Issued ID .   Please check with the casino if in any doubt  0247 668 4747. If not already a Grosvenor member, you can join at any Grosvenor casino prior to the event.

Most Casinos operate a strict challenge 25 scheme. Players have previously been refused entry due to not fulfilling ID requirements upon arrival. The Nuts Poker League Ltd has no control over players being refused entry by Casino Reception or Door staff.

Free Parking –Upon arrival advise the attendant you are going to the Nuts Poker Final in the Casino.

Scotland Final Sat 26th November

Congratulations to Alexander Wood from The Park hotel Macduff in North East Scotland on winning the Scotland National Final in the Grosvenor Casino, Merchant City Glasgow.

After 10 hours of play, the tournament reached heads up with Pete Bryden from Ayrshire.

The deciding hand came when Pete the short stack pushed All in pre flop with a Qd & 6D and was called by Alexander holding Kd & Qc

Flop was 4s, Kc & Qs. Followed by Turn of Jc and river of 7c meaning Alexander won the title with 2 pair.
